Our lovely friends had surprised us with a meal at Simpsons so we thought we would celebrate our first month minimoon in Michelin style. We sipped an array of spectacular cocktails in the Edgbaston before sitting down to a wonderful meal at Simpsons. They even bought out our dessert with a minimoon message elaborately scrawled in chocolate although the waitress was not familiar with what a minimoon was and was quite confused as to what to say when she brought it out- nevertheless it meant a lot to us.
This turned out to be a very significant day although we didn't know it at the time, as on the 28th June we viewed and put an offer on our first home.
